The Indoor UPS With 12V Series. which is intended for residential and commercial use, provides DC power backup protection for networking and 12V FTTx devices used indoors. In order to conserve power and reduce energy expenses, the goods have high operational efficiency and provide steady DC power output. The DC UPSs have hot-swappable battery packs so that maintenance can be performed without affecting power. In addition to providing battery power in the event of a power loss, the device also powers the ONT during normal circumstances. Other security features include overload protection, surge and spike protection, and an EMI filter.
The FTTx power supply and battery backup Unit's small size and space-saving design make it ideal for desktop use. It has visual indications, auditory alerts that tell you how the unit is doing, and a cold start emergency capability for "last-gasp" availability. With easily replaceable batteries and a safe shutdown before any thermal damage, it is very user-friendly.
Cyberpower DTC36U12V battery installation:
Replacing your old batteries with new ones is fairly simple, and by following just a few steps your UPS system will be up and running in no time. Firstly, slide off the battery cover at the back of the DTC36U12V unit. Next remove the old battery from the enclosure, and disconnect both battery cable connections. Once complete, you can now install your new battery by connecting the red lead to the postive terminal, and the black lead to the negative terminal. Lastly, slide the battery pack into the compartment and replace the cover. Your backup power supply is now ready to use.
Charging and maintenance:
It is important to keep in mind that sealed lead-acid batteries shouldn't be discharged below 50% of their capacity for any length of time. Long-term low charge storage of sealed lead-acid batteries can result in irreversible failure, meaning the battery simply won't recharge.
