The Borgarelli B9500X, inspired by vintage Italian sport cars, is described as the most distinguished, most prestigious mobility scooter out there you can buy. With its soft all-around suspension, the large, plush and completely adjustable seat ensures ultimate comfort even during long distances. The mobility scooter has more ground clearance and can tackle even the most difficult obstacles. Driving is made genuinely enjoyable, featuring the dynamic rhino-2 hi-tech programmable controller, while the digital speedometer, odometer and clock allow important trip information to be ready at your fingertips. Its strong 75ah batteries provided are a truly unmatchable range.
We will say we have seen some of these with 50ah batteries in. They are just not quite as long in length and suspect they may have been supplied like this from the dealer, perhaps for economical reasons, you may want to look to see what batteries you have installed.
Charging and maintenance:
Fully recharge any new battery before its initial use. Deep-cycle batteries that are fully charged offer dependable performance and longer battery life. You should maintain a full charge in your scooter's batteries, as regularly and deeply discharging batteries, charging them infrequently, or storing them without a full charge can permanently damage them, resulting in unpredictable performance and a shorter lifespan. It is preferable to fully charge your scooter's batteries before storing it if you won't be using it for a long time. Additionally, it's crucial to store your scooter somewhere warm and dry and to keep it away from places where it will be subjected to temperature extremes.
We advise charging your battery every night for 8-14 hours after use if the scooter is used frequently. If used once or fewer per week, charge at least once per week for 12–14 hours. Battery damage will result from leaving your scooter's batteries partially depleted, therefore it's critical to maintain them properly charged. The batteries in your scooter should not be deeply discharged; if they are, they should be quickly recharged. Never let the batteries charge for longer than twenty-four hours straight. Instructions to change the battery:
Firstly, remove the seat and rear shroud, then untie the battery strap. Disconnect the battery cables from the electronic controller module and battery terminals. You can now carefully remove the old battery to recycle it. After inserting the new battery into the battery well, connect the red battery cable to the positive battery terminal and the black battery cable to the negative battery terminal. After that, connect the battery cables to the electronic controller module and secure the battery tie-down strap. Finally, replace the rear shroud and seat.
Recycling:
Please correctly dispose of your old battery by taking it to your local recycling centre. For more information please visit the recycling link at the foot of this page.
