SUA24XLBP is an external battery pack for an uninterruptible power supply (UPS). It is designed to provide additional battery runtime for a UPS system. When connected to a compatible UPS, the SUA24XLBP can extend the amount of time that it can provide power to connected equipment during a power outage. This allows for more time to safely shut down equipment or to transfer to a backup power source.

This offer is four individual batteries that the SUA24XLBP requires to function. These batteries would be installed into the external battery pack (instructions can be found on the download tab) and then that pack would connect to your UPS to give you a longer runtime. This can be useful for situations where the equipment connected to the UPS requires a longer period of time is needed to safely shut down equipment or transfer to a backup power source.

Lead acid batteries need to be maintained but the UPS will do a better job of charging than a human could. You can expect the batteries to last for two to five years. However, how you use it will determine how long they last. Make sure it has good ventilation because the batteries get hot when used in general and will last less time if they get too hot. Avoid stacking books on top of the UPS and keep the load below 40%. While it is more than capable of going higher, doing so will be risky.
