The Ben Sayers Electric Trolley is equipped with a 33AH lead acid battery as standard, allowing for 36 holes of play without needing to charge. With seven speed options and a digital display showing the current speed level, you can easily adjust the power with a turn of the knob. The battery power gauge on the display ensures you never run out of power on the golf course. The trolley also features three distance functions, allowing you to preset distances of 10M, 20M, and 30M with the touch of a button, and dual handle control for left and right handed golfers. However, issues will arise after the battery has been used (or abused) for a period of time and you will notice that it no longer can keep up with you. Luckily, it is very easy to replace the battery and get the machine, and yourself, back out onto the golf course.

We are able to offer an upgrade to this battery, providing you with more amps which in turn provides you with a longer running time allowing you to be out on the course for longer. However, more amps also brings another benefit, especially if you do not need to reach more holes. The more you discharge a AGM battery, the more damage you are doing. So, if the battery has more charge left in it at the end of a day’s use before putting it back on charge you are looking after it better and therefore will last you longer overall.

Although maintaining your battery is rather simple, you could find internet instructions that are contradictory. The most crucial guideline is to never let your battery get totally discharged, after a round of golf you need to charge as soon as possible until full. The battery should also be charged before use, and it may take up to ten charges for the battery to reach its maximum capacity. Last but not least, giving the battery a top-up charge will keep its cells fresh if it won't be used for at least six weeks.
