On offer here is a set of four high quality, rechargeable, sealed lead, AGM batteries designed for UPS machines that you can install yourself without only a little knowledge a perhaps a screwdriver. Once they are installed, looking after them is a simple job because the UPS itself does all the charging a voltage control. However, there are some things you should be doing to help. First of all, allow the UPS to run for a while without any load, this will help charge the batteries and get them comfortable in their new home. Secondly, batteries get hot while in use, that’s just the nature of them so ensure you do not use the UPS as a table and that there is plenty of ventilation around the system. Lastly, if possible, keep the load below 40% but of course it’s capable of way more than that.
