Each UPS has a set of six individual batteries in them and that is what we are offering here. It is much more environmentally and cost efficient to replace the batteries inside the unit rather than buying a whole new unit, they are rechargeable and designed to be replaced. It is quite easy and can be done with only a little knowledge and a screwdriver however if you need help, please seek advice from a professional.

The batteries we are offering are high quality and ampere, sealed lead acid, rechargeable, non hazardous AGM units which are maintenance free. Being maintenance free and also being installed into a device that charges and regulates the voltage there isn’t much you need to do in the way of caring for them. However, there are a few tips that we recommend to ensure you are getting the most out of them. To start with, once the batteries are installed, allow them to sit in the UPS without any load to ensure they get a full charge before being put to work. Secondly, batteries get hot, that’s just the nature of them so please ensure the unit has some ventilation and not being used as part of your workbench. Lastly, when possible, keep the load below 40%.
