The exterior of this battery pack is manufactured from ABS-Plastice. The cells are sealed AGM valve-regulated lead acid, not hazardous and non-spillable. the battery has a low discharge and does not require any maintenance except of course, to be kept charged.
Please note: the terminals are on the end of the casing so as not to be confused with other batteries of a similar size.
You should fully charge your new battery when it arrives and first uses. This will take little time as it will have a good charge. Always recharge as soon as you can after use. If not being used for long periods, then you should recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
Recycling:
Please ensure that when this battery has completed its purpose in the coming years that it is sent to a recycling centre, its mainly made from lead and is ideally suited to be recycled into another useful product. Do not send to landfill.
