As standard, the batteries supplied with the Livewell Easy-Fold are a pair of twelve-volt, thirty-four-ampere. However, what we are offering here is a pair of 35Ah so a slight upgrade on the original. However, we are able to offer an even further upgrade, a 41ah battery. This is the same physical size so installation will be easy but it will greatly increase the runtime of the battery, giving you more miles use on your journey.
Looking after mobility scooter or wheelchair batteries may seem daunting but in reality, it is a simple task. As long as you follow a few basic rules, they should last you many years if treated correctly. First thing to do, after installation is to charge until full, this must also be done after every single use. Secondly, if there are going to be long periods when the batteries are not in use then after fully charging, top up every five weeks to keep the cells fresh. Lastly, do not overcharge or undercharge and follow the advice given in your user manual.
