QTX is a market leading manufacturer of PA systems and one of their models, the QX15PA-Plus is very popular due to the multitude of benefits and features it brings to the user. It builds on previous models with the addition of ultra high frequency receivers making it less likely to pick up interference. QTX suggest that a single charge of the internal battery can give up to eight hours of use however that greatly depends on many different factors and of course as the battery gets older, the time will reduce. We are able to offer a higher ampere battery on our easy upgrade section that will last over 25% longer between chargers.
For sustained use, proper maintenance is necessary for your new battery. When it first arrives, install and charge it. After each use, recharge as quickly as you can, never leave the battery in a discharged state for long periods. Every six weeks, charging the battery will keep the cells active even if they are not being used. Please do not leave it on the charger for longer than required to get a full-capacity charge. If in doubt, never for more than twenty-four hours.
