We have found this size battery in many different things, generally as backup power emergency lighting or restricted mobility beds but also in portable equipment like PA systems.
The battery will be delivered with a good charge in it already, but it is always good practice to fully charge a new rechargeable battery when it arrives and is first used. If it is going in something that has its own built-in charging circuit then this will look after the charging for you, and probably do a better job of it than you could manually.
