Peg-Perego recommends charging for at least eighteen hours on the first charge, but not exceeding twenty-four hours at any given time since this may cause irreversible damage to the battery. You can easily replace your old battery for a new one by following these fairly straight-forward steps. Firstly, open up the battery compartment and disconnect the power plugs. Next, unscrew the two screws of the battery holder, remove it and extract the old battery. You can now put the new battery in its place and fix the battery holder in place with the two screws. Finally, connect the battery and electrical system plugs and close the hood by repositioning the lock.
