The battery we are offering here is one 12v 7ah rechargeable, recyclable leak-proof battery that acts as a compatible direct replacement for the Xootz Typhoon power drift trike. You can however upgrade your replacement battery to a 9ah. To do this simply select ‘easy upgrade’ above and choose the 9ah battery. The upgrade is the same physical size as the standard whilst providing more power between charges.
Battery care and maintenance are very important and by following a few simple rules you can help to get the best out of your new purchase. Although we send our batteries out almost fully charged, some may get lost in transit. Therefore please ensure to charge your new battery before the first use, and after every use to help keep the cells fresh. Never allow the battery to completely discharge as this will cause irreversible damage. If you are not using the equipment for longer periods of time, for example and especially in the winter months, then a top-up charge every eight weeks or so will be necessary.
Be sure to correctly dispose of your existing battery at your local recycling centre. This will prevent the battery incorrectly being disposed of in household waste, which eventually goes to landfill and can be very harmful for the environment. By recycling these batteries we can conserve the valuable resource that is lead, minimising the need for resource extraction.
