There are two battery types for this wheelchair, each with different amps, ranges, and physical dimensions. We are able to offer both versions, the standard is a 55ah which is what this page is offering however we are also able to supply the upgraded 73ah battery with a longer range. This can be selected in the easy upgrade section.

Changing the battery is pretty simple but you should follow the instructions in the manual which can be found on the downloads tab. The chair needs to be in a standing position to get access to the rear cover which is where the batteries are stored and can be changed. Please exchange the batteries with caution or seek advice from a professional.
The best way to extend the life of your batteries and save money on them is to charge them fully as soon as you receive them and before using them for the first time. If you don't plan on using them for extended periods of time, top up the charge every eight weeks. Avoid leaving your batteries on charge all the time; trying to forcefully drain the last bit of energy from sealed lead batteries will shorten their lifespan considerably and cost you valuable charging options down the road. Most importantly, do not leave them in a discharged state, you must charge after every use.
