You may find that our replacement battery has the upright terminal turned through ninety degrees, but that should not cause any fitting issues. You can compare the picture of ours with yours.
The battery has flag upright terminals to accept an M5 nut and bolt.
Sealed lead acid batteries, they require no maintenance, Valve regulated AGM, non-spillable, can be mounted on the side if required.
As you will probaly be using this battery in a generator you will know it needs no maintenance, but it does need to be kept charged. Generally, you should charge fully when it arrives and first use, but it will already have a reasonable charge in it.
The generator if working as should will recharge the battery when running and if it is used regularly then that is all it will need. If it's not being used, it will also require charging every six weeks to maintain good cells.
