Replacement Vision CP1226 compatible battery, rechargeable 12v 2.6ah AGM sealed batteries with terminals on one end.
While the battery's physical size is standard, the terminals' position at the end is not. Some fitments require this, particularly in medical environments.
Your new battery will have a lot of energy when it arrives, but all rechargeable batteries should be fully charged when you receive them and are first used. If they are not being used for extended periods, then recharge them every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.
If the Vision CP1226 battery replacement is being used in a portable device without an always-connected mains supply to maintain voltage, then the best advice would be to charge as soon as possible after every use. It will do the cells no good whatsoever to allow them to sit in a discharged state.
It will take up to ten charges and associated use before the cells can accept a full capacity charge; this is normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries go through at the start of their life.
These valve-regulated VRLA and sealed lead AGM batteries can be mounted on their side. They need no maintenance except charging and will not leak any fluid, making them (and your old ones) environmentally friendly and recyclable. When they reach the end of their useful life, please take them to your local recycling centre so they can be transformed into something new and continue their green journey.
