The Riviera lift is designed to lower and recline a user in a bath easily. It is powered by a 12v sealed lead battery which is contained within a case, we are offering the battery which you put into your case. The battery is 12v 2.6ah, the top of the case clips off, and you can remove the battery to swap it over for the new one. In general use it will always be better to charge your battery after every use, you have weigh up what you should do against the convience of allowing it to sit discharged. We believe that you can make an educated decision as long as you know the best way for longevity.
It will always take several charges and use in the equipment before the cells can accept a full capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process all batteries endure from new, and we would be surprised you would even notice this is taking place.
This battery is AGM and VRLA, which means it will not leak as it's sealed and can be mounted on its side or used in portable equipment without fear of spillage.
