The Excel Power XL8000DFV is a duel-fuel generator capable of using petrol and LPG with a four-stroke 459cc engine mounted in an open frame, large twenty-five-litre petrol tank. It has features such as AVR control, copper windings, and low-level oil protection and is started either by a Recoil or an electric push button.

The original battery supplied with the machine is 18ah, slightly different to most available as the terminals are reversed; our offer is for a 22ah battery, which will offer more energy for starting, especially noticeable on a cold morning, which must be better than pulling on the cord.

If you look after your new battery, it will last a long time, saving you a lot of money in the long run. It will come almost fully charged, but you should always fully charge a new rechargeable battery when it arrives; if it is not being used, recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order. Remember that it will probably take twenty minutes of run time to replenish the energy in the battery after an engine starts.

It will take up to ten charges and use in your equipment before a lead battery will be conditioned to accept a full capacity charge, this is normal.
