Replacement compatible 6DM18 6DM21 12v 22ah battery with four terminals, so it can be mounted either way.

The 6DM18 and 6DM21 batteries seem to be primarily found in generators or other mechanical equipment that use an engine to run. We have seen both batteries with the positive terminal on the left and the right. To overcome this issue, we supply a battery with four terminals, one on each corner so that it can be used either way around. Also, the battery we provide is considerably better at starting engines, and a further plus is that it is 22ah, so a lot more power.

This 6DM18 and 6DM21 replacement battery will replace the 18ah and the 20ah, allowing for a much better starting experience. It also has a combination of terminal fittings, all in the box, it is about 1mm wider, but we have never seen an issue with fitting in any of the units we have supplied it for. If anything, it has given the equipment a whole new lease of life as no one likes to have to use the recoil if there is a working electric start.

The battery will come out to you pretty well charged, but it would be remiss of us to remind you that any rechargeable battery should be charged upon receipt and first use; if it is not being used, then recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order. Please remember that replacing the energy in the cells after starting the equipment will take at least twenty minutes of runtime.

It will take up to ten charges and use in your equipment before a lead battery will be conditioned to accept a full capacity charge, this is normal.
