This set includes two MK ES17-12 batteries. They are generally combined in the scooter or wheelchair box to output 24v.

Looking after your new MK ES17-12 batteries is crucial if you want to keep them for a long time. They will come out to you almost fully charged, but it is always good practice to charge new batteries when they arrive fully and are first used. Charge as soon as you can after every use. If you leave them in a discharged state, it will only harm them and shorten their expected life span. Never try to discharge them fully. Try to keep as much energy in the cells as possible.

The MK ES17-12 needs no maintenance except, of course, charging, which we have covered. They are not hazardous and can be used indoors and outdoors as portable devices, so they are ideal for mobility scooters and wheelchairs.
