There are two batteries in this set.
The Permobil F5 Corpus is powered by two 12v batteries, grouped as a 24V system, with a capacity of around 60-70Ah. These are deep-cycle, GEL batteries, designed for prolonged use and durability. Maintenance of these batteries is vital in order to keep them in good condition and providing the wheelchair with power and to keep you going. Charge upon delivery and before first use although this should not take long as they will have a substantial charge anyway, you also need to charge after every use and never leave in a discharged state.
