There are two batteries in this set.
The chair is powered by two 12-volt deep-cycle batteries, which are a common choice in mobility for their balance of weight and performance. These batteries typically offer a significant lifespan of two to five years with regular use before they require replacement, depending on the frequency of use and how well they are maintained.
Maintaining them is very simple if you follow a few basic rules. Like all rechargeable batteries, it's best to charge them upon arrival, ideally twenty-four hours before they are first used. Make sure to recharge them after each use. If they remain unused for extended periods, recharge them every six weeks and avoid storing them discharged. Always perform a complete discharge and recharge cycle before using them again.
Gel batteries require more time to reach optimal condition; they may need up to fifteen cycles of use and charging in the device before they achieve their full capacity.
