First and foremost, this model mobility scooter has been seen in a number of versions, not all will be suitable for this service. Check the pictures supplied, does you battery box look like this, if so we can help you. If you are in any doubt that the box looks different then send us a picture and we will advise further.
- Clearwell Aguna Ultralight battery replacement
This offer is for us to pick up your battery box in our heavy-duty transport container, bring it back to our warehouse, and install a brand new Clearwell Aguna Ultralight compatible lithium battery pack inside. We will then send you your battery box back for you to take out and install onto your mobility scooter. We do not sell the cells for you to fit yourself. Lithium fitment has hazards that sealed lead batteries do not.
The fitting of this lithium-type battery is not straightforward; we will do this for you at our workshop; please ensure you read the steps below so you understand the procedure.
- Look at the pictures above, does your box look the same if so order the service.
- Advise a suitable date for collection, when the driver will come to your collection address with a large, heavy-duty transportable box. Wait and put your battery inside.
- Upon receipt of your battery box, we will check it over. Then proceed with removing the old lithium battery, disposing of it then fitting a new one.
- We will confirm the new battery is charging and that the box is outputting the relevant voltage.
- Your box will then be returned to you for use.
If any any time there is an issue with the box, we will stop and speak to you before proceeding further.
This service is only available to UK mainland customers at this time. We may extend this; perhaps you can contact us, but it must be an area that is reachable by road and not air.
Please note: We can only do so many of these fitments in a working week, so it is first come, first served.
We are also able to convert your existing Clearwell Aguna Ultralight battery box from the standard 10.5ah to 21ah. This is done by putting an extra battery in—you might know it as the Endurance—plus a control module, meaning you could double the mileage that could be achieved on a single charge. There is no need for a new charger, either; just use your existing one.
