The recommended way to care for your new Kern&Sohn VHM pallet truck battery is to charge it after every use. However, normally in general practice, in busy work environments, that does not always happen, and it will reduce the battery's life span. You have to weigh up convenience. Charge the battery as often as possible; do not try to run it down; it will only shorten its life span.

Fitting your new Kern&Sohn VHM pallet truck batteries is not difficult, but you can always send them to us if you want, and we can do it for you, either just one or as many as you have.

What does the above "Version" options mean?
If required, we are able to offer a fitting service for this product. There are three options within the drop down menu and ill describe each below.

Battery
A single battery will be dispatched to you where you install into your existing battery box. The job is relatively simple.

Fitting only
Send us your whole battery box via courier (address will be emailed to you). Once at our warehouse we will open it up and replace the battery, check its functioning as should be and send you your box back with a new battery installed.

Collection & Fitting
We will send out a courier with a custom box to collect your whole battery box, just pop your battery box(s) into our box at the door where the courier will take it away. Once back at our warehouse, we will open it up and replace the battery, check its functioning and send you your box back with a new battery installed. This is popular with customers who have multiple battery cases they want changed. We an probably fit ten at the same time within one box, please contact us if you have this many.
