To get the most out of your batteries, it's important to follow proper maintenance practices. If you opt for the standard wet lead-acid batteries, regular maintenance is essential—check electrolyte levels periodically and refill with distilled water as needed.
If you upgrade to the GEL versions you will not have to do this but it will still require a consistent charging regime and use a charger compatible with GEL batteries to ensure efficient and safe charging.
Regardless of which version you go for, charge after every use and if not in use for longer periods, charge once a month.
At the end of its lifespan, this wet flooded battery can be recycled, making disposal easier on the environment.
