The Kunzer AKKU-Start ASX 12/440 is a small portable jump start pack that comes with a very hard wearing amd well built, but the battery will require replacing over time and it's a serviceable part.

Please charge your new Kunzer AKKU-Start ASX 12/440 battery when it arrives and before its first used. It's also imperative to charge it immediately after every use to maintain useability. Never leave it in a discharged state if possible, it will only shorten life span. If it's not being used, recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in good order.

We do not recommend leaving it on the charger for any longer than necessary to obtain a full-capacity charge; overnight is fine, but not 24/7.

It will take several charges and use in the equipment before the cells are capable of accepting a full capacity charge; this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargeable batteries go through at the start of their long service.
