This battery uses sealed lead GEL technology. It’s non spill able, maintenance-free, and suitable for regular deep cycling. It’s recyclable at the end of its life, which means less waste and a more sustainable solution for your kit.
While these batteries are designed for commercial use, the same care rules apply: always charge after every use. Don’t wait. Regular full charges help extend battery life and keep internal resistance low. If the machine’s going into storage or sitting unused, give it a top-up at least once a month. Sealed lead batteries do self-discharge slowly, even when idle.

The Tennant T391 is a slightly better spec version than its little brother in many ways, including the battery. If you have the T391, then it is strongly suggested by us, and by Tennant, that you select the upgrade to 105ah.
