The HQ BAT-Lead-02 replacement is a compact 12v battery pack. It is very tough, and as it's sealed, it will not leak, so it is suitable for use in portable equipment; we see it quite a lot in monitoring equipment, both security and medical, as well as emergency lighting and alarm systems.

You really should not leave it in a discharged state; never try to fully discharge it, as this will only shorten its lifespan.
