The ProMax 9000EA is a portable petrol generator powered by a Briggs & Stratton engine and can provide 9000 starting watts and 7000 running watts. It is quoted as providing 6 hours of runtime at 50%.
The original battery is 17ah; our replacement is an instant upgrade to 18ah, making starting and reserve more efficient. We can also supply a 22ah, same footprint and terminals that will slip straight in for an even greater experience. This is selectable from the easy upgrade drop-down menu above under available options.
Generally, the ProMax 9000EA battery will require several uses in the generator before it accepts a full-capacity charge; this is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all batteries go through at the start of their lifespan.
If the replacement ProMax 9000EA battery is not in use, you should recharge it every 4 to 6 weeks. As it's used in a generator to start the engine, it will take at least 30 minutes of typical runtime before the energy used is replenished.
The ProMax 9000EA battery type is lead-acid, AGM, and valve-regulated VRLA; it will not spill and can even be mounted on its side, making it very suitable for portable devices.
