The pack uses two 12V 2.9Ah batteries, giving the correct voltage and capacity balance for these three Powerlift models. Fitment is straightforward since only a screwdriver and some patience needed, but taking note of polarity and cable routing is important.
For best longevity, charge after each shift or heavy session rather than waiting for a low-battery alert. Avoid storing the hoist with a flat pack, keep it in a cool, dry space, and if it won’t be used for a while, top it up every few weeks to prevent deep discharge.

Fitting the batteries isn’t a complicated job, but we know it’s not for everyone. You might not have the right tools, you may not feel confident opening the unit, or it could simply be awkward to do.

Once selected, we’ll email you the address to send your battery box to, plus clear packing guidance and the next steps. The collection and fitting service is where we come and collect your battery pack instead,
When your parcel arrives, we’ll inspect the unit, install the new batteries, and confirm it’s producing the correct voltage before sending it back.
If you’d like us to test your charger at the same time, we can do that as well at no extra cost. Turnaround is usually the same working day, depending on when it arrives.
