- IPC Tennant BATT12V95A battery
This IPC Tennant BATT12V95A battery is used on some vertical mast work platforms. The battery on this page is the flooded-cell type, with the option to upgrade to the AGM version above under available options.
These IPC Tennant BATT12V95A batteries are often used in battery banks to provide the required voltage and capacity. Where this is the case, you should carefully consider whether you should not replace the whole bank rather than just one. The only real way to test a deep-cycle battery is with a capacity tester, which most people don't have in the workshop. An automotive drop tester is unsuitable, and a voltmeter will only tell you half the story.
Looking after your new IPC Tennant BATT12V95A battery is important. The best general advice would probably be to charge it as soon as you can after each use, and, if you are certain there is no parasitic drain of any sort, every six weeks if it is not being used.
Chemistry: Flooded, wet (AGM version can be selected above)
Voltage: 12v per battery
Capacity: 105ah @ 20Hr.
The AGM available above, as an alternative to the IPC Tennant BATT12V95A, has the same physical size but increased amperage. However, the main benefit of using sealed batteries is the lack of liquid you have to maintain. AGM is classed as maintenance-free, but you do, of course, still need to charge them. Do not mix the chemistries within the same bank.
