The Tennant T1581 machines will run on a 36V system comprising six 6V deep-cycle blocks, providing the scrubber with the torque and runtime it needs for larger areas. These are industrial traction cells designed for repetitive discharge and recharge, so they cope far better than general-purpose batteries in a cleaning environment. This listing is for the version which requires 6V cells. The Tennant T1581 can also take a set of 2V cells. This is a rechargeable Tennant T1581 battery set using deep-cycle lead technology, chosen for its ability to handle repeated cycling without failing early. Charge after every shift with the correct 36V charger, don’t leave it sitting partially discharged, and try not to run it flat—stopping with roughly 20% left is kinder to the cells and usually adds months of useful life.
