The Powerhouse PH2100PRi is a popular, compact petrol-driven generator with a 125cc four-stroke engine, inverter capability, and electric start. The battery is a valve-regulated, sealed lead-acid and high-performance battery that requires no maintenance (except charging when not in use) and will not spill, making it safe to install in any orientation except upside down and non-hazardous.

Starter battery replacement for the Powerhouse PH2100PRi
This battery now comes with a pair of 6.35mm F2/T2 connectors. This is due to the device having ring connections in some installations. The original battery with these is just no longer available, but converting to spade connections gets around this without much difficulty. Simply remove the ring and crimp the supplied connections in its place.
Maintenance tips
Because the Powerhouse PH2100PRi are frequently used by leisure users or for particular jobs that don't come up often, it is possible that the battery will not be maintained during the winter months and will slowly discharge. This is not healthy for the battery, and if left for too long, will eventually render the battery useless. We recommend charging the battery every 6 weeks when it is not in use so everything works properly for your next use.
Environmentally Friendly
Because these Powerhouse PH2100PRi batteries are largely made of lead (Pb), please take them to a recycling facility when you are finished with them so they can be reused or recycled, rather than being sent to a landfill and harming the environment. This also applies to your old batteries, and if you are unsure where to dispose of them, please contact your local council, who will be glad to advise you.
Connector Update: we are now supplying the Powerhouse PH2100PRi battery with two short bespoke cables, terminated with spade connections at one end. Plus, at the other end, a ring, plus a nut and bolt, so it can connect to the existing loop on your generator. Plus two lengths of shrink tube to cover the join. The nut and bolt are 8mm spanners, the shrink tube is activated by heat, a heat gun, a hot hairdryer, a soldering iron, or even a lighter. Set it so everyone has one of these at home.
