The original battery, made in the far east, does not seem to be available at the time of writing, yet many are fitted to petrol generators, lawnmowers and other such equipment, normally with an electric start. Now it seems a shame that these very useful devices are set for the scrapyard, just because of lack of battery, you would have thought this kind of service part would be supplied by the manufacturers, but I suppose its commercially more sense for you to go out and buy another piece of kit from them rather than keep your original item going, yes you would be right, there is a pattern here, one we would like to reverse.
Now we can supply a battery the correct size to replace the Powersonic 6-QF-5-FS, just with different fittings, so we supply terminal adapters to change them over, just crimp them on, a job that could be done with a pair of pliers if not a crimping tool.

We now supply this battery with a pair of female spade connectors. This is because on some installations, you will have an upright or flag ring-type terminal, and the battery for it is no longer available. You can remove them and add these F2 6.35mm ones for connection to the battery instead, simply crimped on. You should be able to do this with a pair of pliers if you do not have a crimping tool.
Connector Update - we are now supplying the Powersonic 6-QF-5-FS battery compatible replacement, with two short bespoke cables, terminated with a spade connection at one end. plus at the other a ring, plus a nut and bolt so it can connect to the existing loop on your generator. Plus two lengths of shrink tube to cover the join. The nut and bolt are 8mm spanners, the shrink tube is activated by heat, a heat gun, a hot hairdryer, a soldering iron, or even a lighter. Set it so everyone has one of these at home.
