The HP R/T3000, both G1 & G2, are established uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to extend backup time in emergencies.
Although we realise that it's not always possible, the best way to treat these batteries after installation is to allow the system to run up to full charge with any load for the first 24 hours.
If, for any reason, these batteries are not installed upon receipt, ensure they are charged and stored every 8 weeks.
