The Linak BAL20001-02, 20006107 & CSA07033 battery pack is used in portable hoists; it has a set of NI-MH cells in a pack that can be replaced with new ones when they start to degrade. Fitting the cells pack is quite easy, turn your Linak BAL20001-02, 20006107 & CSA07033 battery puck upside down and you will see the screws, while we have indeed seen some with philips screws, most seen to be a torx head. This is just a security screw tip, found now in most secuty screws driver sets, or easily obtained in many tool shops or online.
Just undo the eight screws of the Linak BAL20001-02, 20006107 & CSA07033 battery box, separate the base from the lid and replace the cell set.
Please fully charge your new Linak BAL20001-02, 20006107 & CSA07033 battery when it arrives and is first used. If it's not being used for extended periods, you should also recharge it every six weeks to keep the cells fresh.
