As standard, the Tomcat Sport uses 130Ah wet or flooded batteries. If you want longer runtime and fewer mid-job charging breaks, there’s a 150Ah wet upgrade available, giving you extra capacity for bigger areas or longer continuous use. For users who’d rather keep maintenance simpler, the 140Ah AGM upgrade is a sealed option that reduces spill risk and avoids the regular topping-up associated with wet batteries, while still delivering strong output for daily cleaning. These can be selected on the easy upgrade section.
To help any rechargeable battery set last, charge fully after each use, avoid routinely running the machine flat, keep the battery bay clean and dry, and make sure connections stay tight. When the old batteries are removed, recycle them through an approved battery collection point.
