When you receive your order from us you will note that the batteries will be almost fully charged, but it is important to fully charge them before first use, while you only need to charge until the charger indicates that its finished it is very important and not a step you should overlook, this first step is important so do not ignore it, do not use without this initial charge, doing so can shorten expected life span
It's not always apparent but it will take up to ten charges combined with use in your device before a full capacity charge can be achieved, this is the normal part of conditioning, as soon as you after each use put them back on charge, do not allow them to sit in a discharged state, never go out of your way to deliberately discharge, this will only reduce overall life span, there may well be extended periods where the batteries are not being actively used, if so ensure they are charged fully beforehand and then recharged every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
These 12-volt batteries are valve regulated and AGM or absorbed glass mat, not need for any liquid as the acid is held within the glass mat, this means they will not spill and not-hazardous so safe for use around the home and or travelling, even aeroplanes but you should confirm this with your airline at point of booking your flight, they are deep cycle which would be required in this sort of application
