These are valve regulated lead acid batteries, they are also absorbed glass mat, this means that that they will not spill even if on there side, a very important feature of a travel capable mobility scooter and safe for use indoors and outdoors as well as public transport as it is not hazardous
Charge your new batteries before using for the first time, if not being used for long periods then you should implement a top up charge every four to six weeks, its far better to charge after every use and never deliberately attempt to discharge it fully, this will only shorten the overall possible life span
