We find that with the type of toy the batteries get used a lot and then get put away flat until the following weekend or next sunny spell, this is not good for the battery, charge upon receipt and before first use, charge as soon as you can after every use, do not try to run them down and charge every eight weeks if not being used but do not leave on the charger for more than twenty four hours.
