Even though the Chauffer Lil Taxi batteries you receive from us will be almost fully charged, you should still charge them before first use. While you only need to charge until the charger says it's finished, it is very important and not a step you should overlook. You may well be impatient to fit and use the equipment, but it's worth waiting until it's fully charged, as this will help extend its overall lifespan.
It may well take a few charges and use in your equipment for the Chauffer Lil Taxi battery to condition and be able to take a full capacity charge. This is quite normal. Charge your new batteries after each use; they can handle many charges, but that capacity will be reduced if you run them down in between. Fully discharging your batteries will shorten their lifespan, and they will need to be replaced sooner. There may be extended periods where they are not being actively used. If so, ensure they are charged first, then recharged every 4 weeks, but do not leave them on the charger for more than 24 hours at a time.
