The Monarch Mighty Mini mobility scooter is suitable for indoor and outdoor use with a top speed of four miles per hour. The weight capacity for this machine is twenty-one stone, it can be broken down into five pieces for easy storage in the back of a car for transportation.
The Monarch Mighty Mini comes as standard with twelve ampere sealed lead batteries that will as quoted in the brochure offer eight miles range from new. We may be able to offer an increase in milage using larger capacity batteries, but with the same physical size in the drop-down menu in the easy upgrades section above.

In your Monarch Mighty Mini battery box you will have two 12v batteries, they combine to offer 24v for the system. They are easy to change, just turn the box over on something soft like a carpet so you do not scratch the casing, undo the eight or so screws from underneath that hold the two halves together then you will be able to see the batteries to change them. The whole job normally takes no more than five or ten minutes and only requires a Phillips screwdriver, if you cannot see the screws then use a torch to look down the holes. There are only two cables on each battery but we always recommend taking a picture before you pull them off just in case you forget where they went, sounds silly but worth having something to refer back to.
Charge your new Monarch Mighty Mini batteries when they arrive and first used. Most importantly charge after every use, even if you have just popped to the shops, its when they are left partially discharged that the damage could be done to the cells. But do not leave on a charger for any longer than required to have a full capacity charge, overnight is fine but not for days at a time.
You may note that it will take several charges and use in the Monarch Mighty Mini mobility scooter before the batteries will be capable of accepting a full capcity charge, this is quite normal and part of thge conditioning process that all rechargebale batteries will ensure at the start of their long life.
Please note there is also a plus version which uses larger batteries, if you have nothing else to diferentiate with then the batteries on this page will fit the box that is less than five inches tall. If yours is larger then you may have the plus which will be in the alternative tab above
