The Monarch Mighty Mini Plus mobility scooter has a range of twelve miles with its standard batteries. We are able to offer a couple of alternatives to offer more miles per charge in the drop-down menu of the easy upgrades above, they are the same physical size and will slip straight in.

The Monarch Mighty Mini Plus has a top speed of four miles per hour and is easily adjusted on the speed setting control panel where you will also find a battery charge indicator and audible horn. The scooter has other features such as a removable front basket and handy cup holders. The charging point is on the tiller, and the scooter itself can be broken down into five easily managed parts for transportation and convenient to be put into the back of a car.
Please note there is a version of this scooter that is not the plus, it has a smaller battery box, if your battery box is less than six inches tall then look at the other version which you will find in the alternatives tab above.
Fitting your new Monarch Mighty Mini Plus batteries is very easy. You may not realise but inside your battery box is two 12v batteries, these combine inside to ourput 24v. To fit them first turn the box upside down on a soft material such as a carpet so to not strach the case. Undo the eight or so philips screws that hold the lide on then turn it back and lift off the lid. You will then see the two batteries, just swap them over one a time with the new batteries, there are only two cables on eah of the batteries but if you do them one at a time it will be easier, perhaps even take a picture s you have a reference. The whole job should take no more than ten minutes, half that time when you do it gain in a few years.
It is essential to look after your new Monarch Mighty Mini Plus batteries to keep them in good order. Charge them when they arrive and first used, recharge as soon as you can after every use, its when they are sitting in a discharged state that issues will arise later in there life span. If its not being used for long periods then also recharge every six weeks to keep the cells in tip top condition.
It will take several charges and use in the Monarch Mighty Mini Plus mobility scooter before it will be capable of accepting a full capacity charge. This is quite normal and part of the conditioning process that all rechargebale batteries will go through at the start of their lifes.
