The Drive Medical Geo is a very compact electric powered chair which can be easily be broken down into smaller sections for easy transportation in the back of a car, the standard fitment of batteries in this chair is a pair of 12-volt 12-amp hour and that is what this offer is for, we have included the physical dimensions of them further down the page if you are unsure what you have. We can also supply longer runtime 15-amp hour ones, more details of this will be mentioned below.

If you have already dismantled your chair for travelling in the past you will know where your battery pack is, just pull it our by the handle and rest on the floor or raised bench, tun it over and you will see the screws holding the lid on, remove these and change over the batteries, there will be two cable to each, just encase you get disturbed half way through we always recommend taking a picture with your phone so you have something to refer to should you need it, then just put the cover back on.
We would recommend charging fully before first use, they will come you almost fully charged anyway, we would go further to suggest charging after each use, it does this kind of technology no good sitting around in a discharged state, if you can try to never use the last 20% of capacity in the cells, this will help the cells live a long life and if not using for long periods ensure you charge every 8-weeks to slow down the effect from natural discharge.

We may also be able to supply 15ah batteries to directly replace these, this will mean more miles per charge and possibly more importantly more capacity left in the cells at the end of the day before charging which will result in a longer life saving you money in the long run, if you are a really heavy user then you might be better off in the long run with lithium, the initial outlay is more but they can be discharged to 100% without issue and good for 5000 charges the link to these will be below in the alternatives
