The Sterling Little Star is a lightweight and compact travel mobility scooter that is easily disassembled for transportation in the back of a car, as a standard fit it takes two 12v 10ah batteries and that is what this offer is for. they are valve regulated and sealed with absorbed glass mat construction so they will not leak even on their side in the boot of a car so essential for a travel scooter, also they are not hazardous so safe for public transport, indoor use and airlines although you should check when you book your ticket.

Your removable battery box contains two 12v batteries that combine in the box to produce 24v for your scooter, changing them is easy, use the handle to remove the box from the scooter, and place it on a bench or table so you can work on it, from below you will see twelve screws are holding the top on, using a long Phillips screwdriver remove the screws and carefully lift off the lid, you will find it will still be attached to the bottom with a few cables but they will be long enough to the job you wish. It may be wise to take a quick photo with your telephone camera of the leads, but there are only four, two on each battery, swap them over one at a time and put them back together, should take you no more than five minutes to complete.

We would suggest that you fully charge your new Sterling Little Star mobility scooter battery before first and after every use, it will come to you almost fully charged anyway so will not take long, if you are not using it for longer periods then a top up charge every two months will keep the cells fresh.
