When you receive your order from us you will note that the batteries will be almost fully charged, but it is important to fully charge them before first use, your charger will indicate to you when it has completed a charge, the light will generally change to indicate this, do not miss out this important first step, it will help set them up and possibly extend the overall life expectancy of them.
Unless you are a very extended user your will probably not even notice that it can take a number of charge and use in your equipment before a full capacity charge is achieved, this is all part of the conditioning process, ensure that after every use that you put the batteries back on charge. letting them sit in a partially discharged state is not wise, fully discharging your new batteries will reduce the overall life span and they will need changing earlier, this will cost you money in the long run. if there are extended periods where you are not using the batteries you should remember to recharge every four weeks and do not put them away discharged, even partially, do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time.
These 12v batteries are sealed lead valve regulated or VRLA and further benefit from using AGM technology, this means they will not spill so can be used indoors or on the road or pavement without fear of leakage, capable of deep cycling as would be essential in this type of application. they are not-hazardous so safe for use in travel including aeroplanes but you should check with your airline at time of booking.
