Rascal Liteway-6 battery, two sets 14ah AGM mobility scooter.
Replacement Electric Mobility Euro Rascal Liteway-6 or Megalite-6 batteries, two sets, four batteries in all, valve-regulated sealed lead non-spillable 14ah.
The Rascal Liteway-6 or as sometimes badged Megalite-6 has two battery packs. These came with handles, and inside each of these battery boxes, are two batteries. So that is four batteries in total, which is what this offer is for. It is easy to replace them, turn the box over, and you will see the screws holding the lid on, undo these and replace the batteries inside.
- Rascal Liteway 6 battery
- Megalite 6 battery
The batteries will come out to you almost fully charged, but you should still charge them when they arrive and before first use. You should, as a matter of general use, recharge them after each use, and if not using them for more extended periods, charge them every four to six weeks but do not leave them on the charger for more than twenty-four hours.
This set requires four batteries to fit the two battery boxes on your Rascal Liteway-6 or Megalite-6 mobility scooter.
The battery type is AGM. They will not leak and are safe for public transport, including flying, but you should contact the airline when booking your flight.
The voltage of each battery is 12v
The capacity of each battery is 14ah @20Hr.
There are four batteries in this set for the Liteway-6 or Megalite-6 mobility scooter the individual physical size of them are:
Length = 151mm
Width = 99mm
Height = 96mm.
Running down the batteries past 50% will slowly shorten their life expectancy. The more you do it, the shorter it will be, and it eventually becomes like a snowball running faster downhill as it gains weight. If this sounds familiar to you, you might benefit from Lithium batteries. These will fit in your box precisely the same, you can use your old charger, but the difference is that you can discharge to 100% with no adverse effects. Not only that, but they are suitable for up to 5000 charges which are some ten times more when compared to the lead ones. If you are interested, you will find them on the alternatives tab above or the easy upgrade section.
