The Invacare Alber Adventure is designed to be more than just an electric-powered chair, it is made for indoor and outdoor use, but it is perhaps the outdoors where it excels with a highly efficient drive system and modern concepts that allow the energy that may ordinarily be lost going down hills to be reapplied into the system enabling extended longer runs than would have been otherwise possible.

These batteries are valve-regulated sealed lead acid. They are not spillable and suitable to be flung about in the back of a car boot, public transport and airline travel, although please check with the airline when booking your flight.
Keeping your batteries charged is the key to longevity. Charge before first use. This will not take long as they come out to you almost fully charged. Charge after each use. It is not a good idea to allow the batteries to sit in a semi-discharged state for any longer than you have to. Try never to enable the batteries to drop below 20% of the energy charge. This will go a long way to maintaining a long life.
