When you receive the order from us you will note that the batteries will be almost fully charged, but it is important to charge them before first use, just charge them until your charger indicate that they are ready, you may well be impatient just to fit and use the equipment but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life span.
You may notice that it will take up to ten charges and associated use in your device before the batteries are capable of taking a few capacity charge, this is normal, charge your new batteries after each and every use, they are capable of many charges but this will be reduced if you run them down in-between, fully discharging your batteries will reduce the overall life span and they will need changing earlier, if there are long periods where you are not using the batteries you should recharge every four weeks and do not put them away discharged, even partially, do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours at a time
The battery type is AGM or absorbed glass mat construction, they are also valve regulated, they means they can be used electric vehicles around the home or on the road without the fear of any leakage, they will require no maintenance throughout their entire life span and are not-hazardous so safe for travelling including by air but you should check with your airline at point of booking your ticket.
