The CTM Homecare HS-580 is a very capable and stable 4-wheeled mobility scooter which comes as standard with a full lighting kit both front and rear along with reflectors, other noticeable features is the ability to replace the front basket with a lockable cargo case, anti-tip rear wheels, substantial and comfortable captains seat with built in head support and flip up arm rests, overall a good reliable well built scooter
The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, it should not take that long, just until the charger indicates its ready, if in doubt overnight will be more than enough, you may well be impatient enough just to fit and use the equipment without charging but it's well worth waiting until its fully charged and will help extend overall life expectancy
It may be apparent that it will take a few charges and associated use in your electric vehicle before the battery is capable of receiving a full capacity charge, this is quite normal, you should fully charge your batteries as soon as you can after every use, do not leave them sitting in a semi discharged state any period unless necessary, fully discharging your new batteries will reduce the overall life span and they will need changing earlier, this will cost you money in the long run, If there are extended periods where the batteries are not being used then ensure they are fully charged beforehand then recharged every four weeks but you should not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
