The batteries that you receive from us will be almost fully charged, but you should still charge them fully before first use, your charger will indicate to you when it has completed a charge, the light will generally change to indicate this, do not miss out this important first step, it will help set them up and possibly extend the overall life expectancy of them
It's not something that most will notice but it will take a few charges and use in the equipment before a full capacity charge is reached, it's part of the normal conditioning process, letting the batteries sit in a discharged state, even partially is not a good idea, as soon as you have used them put them back on charge, do not attempt to discharge the batteries fully, this can reduce life span quite drastically so cost you money in the long run, if it turns out there are periods where the equipment is not being used on a regular basis then ensure the batteries are fully charged before any period of downtime and then topped up every four weeks but do not leave on the charger for more than 24-hours
These 12-volt batteries are AGM ( absorbed glass mat ) and VRLA ( valve regulated lead acid ) they are deep cycle and not-hazardous so suitable for use indoors or in electric vehicles, they will not leak all features that make them useful for use in this kind of application, they of course do not require any maintenance
